I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While it was conveniently located in the heart of Hollywood and the room size was adequate for a good night's sleep, the layout was inconsistent, and the plumbing issues with the sink made basic tasks like brushing teeth a hassle.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The proximity to the exit gate was convenient, but the rooms urgently needed refurbishing. Despite this, my stay was made special by the accommodating staff. The annex building added a unique touch to the experience.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The shared balcony space was nice, and the rooms were big and comfortable. The location is close to Hollywood Boulevard and the Metro Station, making it convenient for exploring the area. However, the room wasn't ready when I arrived at 16:00, which was a bit disappointing.
Staying at the charming retro motel was a bonus. The breakfast provided at a nearby restaurant was good, and the hotel's proximity to the main street was convenient. The level of cleanliness was impressive, though there were some minor drawbacks.
The hotel rooms are quirky but in need of renovation, similar to the Magic House in Calico, but they were surprisingly clean, which was a plus given the price. The actual condition was much better than what the pictures showed.
The rooms were not the cleanest compared to other options in California, and the bathroom could use a refresh. On the positive side, the room was larger than expected, the service was kind, the location was good, and there was secure parking even after checkout.
